Our Story
RecruTrix was founded by two former colleagues, Dejon and Wasiem, who met while working together at Meta, where Dejon spent ten years of his career. He was a valued member of the team and played a key role in growing the company. His skills in growing teams were instrumental in his time at Instagram, where he helped to triple the size of the product management team
However, after ten years at Meta, Dejon decided it was time for a change and joined Google. He was excited about this new opportunity and was looking forward to making a difference at the tech giant. Unfortunately, shortly after joining Google, he was laid off. It was a tough blow for Dejon, who was still mourning the loss of his mother. He found himself struggling to find a job during the tech layoffs, and the stress of the situation was taking a toll on him.
Dejon’s financial obligations were mounting as he found himself in an uncertain position regarding meeting his expenses. Despite sending out numerous resumes and attending multiple job interviews, he was unable to secure a job. As time went on, he grew increasingly anxious and began to feel like a disappointment, wondering if he would ever be employed again.
One day, while venting to Wasiem about his job search frustrations, they came up with an idea. They both had a wealth of experience in recruitment and a passion for helping people find the right job opportunities. So, they decided to combine their expertise and open their own staffing agency. It was a risky move, but they felt like they had nothing to lose. They put in long hours, pouring their hearts into building a company that truly cared about people and their needs.
However, the road was not easy, and they encountered numerous obstacles along the way. They struggled to find clients and often had to dip into their personal savings to keep the business afloat. Despite the challenges, Dejon and Wasiem persevered, driven by their passion for helping people find their dream careers. They refused to give up on their vision, even when things seemed impossible.
And eventually, their hard work paid off. Thanks to Dejon’s experience in growing teams, RecruTrix was able to expand rapidly, and they started to see the fruits of their labor. Today, their dedication and passion for people continue to drive the company forward, and they take pride in knowing that they are making a real difference in people’s lives.

It was during this time that Wasiem approached Dejon about leveraging their recruitment expertise and passion for helping people find their dream careers to co-found RecruTrix. Together, they put in long hours, pouring their hearts and souls into building a company that genuinely cared about people and their needs.
Dejon's experience in growing teams was instrumental in the company's expansion, but Wasiem played an equally critical role in RecruTrix's success. His recruitment expertise and strong work ethic contributed significantly to the company's growth.
